Thank you so much for the beautiful, wonderful, extraordinary, amazing painting. My wife loved it. She couldn't have gotten a better gift.

Like the guy above said - you do exhibit joie de vivre in many ways - it's wonderful. I love the ethereal effect of your landscape paintings...

I met James 17 years ago while working in Munich and had little idea that he was a budding artist! After James went 'professional', I've always made a point to see his on-line gallery of line-drawings, portraits, and to catch-up on his latest adventures! While always wanting to invest in craft, I purposely waited until my wife and I took our honeymoon to S. Africa to experience many of the expressions and passions James has put to paper. (Note: If you haven't been to S Africa ... Go!). Upon our return, we knew that a representation of our once-in-a-lifetime trip was required and asked James to sketch two drawings that reflected special memories from the trip ... Table Mountain and a Baobab tree (oft seen on our safari). They are about to be framed and featured in our home to continuosly remind us about the beauty of S. Africa and James' art.

James,
Thank you so much for the generous donation of four pieces of your art for the Starfish Charity Art Auction here in New York.
Your line drawings were all very popular and helped raise significant amounts of money for our cause. "Twin Giraffes" generated a lot of interest and some of the most competitive bidding amongst the artwork, everyone was talking about it!
Thank you for support of Starfish through your artwork, we really appreciate it!

I met James about 10 years ago, and ever since then, I've noticed how his art has evolved. It's an amazing blend of abstract, organic and african. What has always impressed me was how many emotional and physical layers the artwork have. The new mono prints and line drawings are fantastic, but then I've always loved that Oriental line drawing style, and now taking into an African spin is just the right time to do it.
