I have a large studio at Victoria Yards, the century-old complex of old steam laundry buildings which has been converted into artists’ and makers’ studios, planted with vegetable gardens and fruit trees. It’s in the suburb of Lorentzville, on the eastern edge of downtown Joburg. Vic Yards is open every day and visitors are welcome to visit and walk through.
