Making prints of Joburg’s old manhole covers, with Pablo and crew. The best places to work were downtown in the CBD, around Harrison and Fox Streets, and Parktown – these are old areas, which have the best old covers.
On the streets, New York City
After working in the RBPW studio i started to take an interest in printing outside on the streets of the manhole covers of New York City. I had to work in the early hours of the morning to avoid traffic and authorities, and it was bitterly cold, but I got some great prints. The older parts…
